BLOOMINGDALE'S: VALENTINE'D DAY LIVE ILLUSTRATION EVENT
As part of a special Valentine's Day event, Bloomingdale's invited me to join them in their NYC location to provide custom illustrations for all shoppers with purchases of $200 or more. For the occasion, I prepared 5 x 7 inch watercolor paper with a pink "XOXO" printed in the front, and "#bloomingdales" on the back to create optimal social media engagement. For the illustrations themselves, I used my Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Water Brush for watercolor use and traditional watercolor pallet from BLICK. The pen was a great way to create quick and clean illustrations — a definite MUST for live events!
